You are not the only one who is struggling with this. Get a relationship started with a counselor and keep it up. Small steps are fine. Drop a note here from time to time. There are lots of good ears around.

Try seeing if you can get a counselor or therapist to help you, I think it worked well for me and there's always the possibility of success for you too, some places (at least where i live) even offer free programs and services.
