Cymatics: Sound made visible

A couple arty friends of mine and I used to play around with sound and cymatics like this ... we then crossed it with video feedback looping by vibrating clear liquids with a video camera looking through the liquid to a monitor beneath the tank.

Add some multi-colored strobe lights and a little LSD,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, and I'd be grooving!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
