Probably, if they were small enough and not a tourist attraction so much... I've heard of that too, Jake.
The Château in Chauvigny is called Château d'Harcourt.

There's a Rue des Châteaux which suggests that there were several castles there. Maybe an old one and a later one... I've been Google visiting Chauvigny and it looks quite nice. There's a beautiful romanesque church there.
•
So it would appear that there were 4 châteaux in Chauvigny, and one tower... Not bad for a small city.
•
Actually 5!

Hi Jake, sorry to see you and Alex go. It sounds like you are going to be mega busy though! I never really got to know either of you very well (I'm a nightmare introvert sometimes) but I always enjoyed reading your posts.
Good luck with your endeavors!

Thanks for giving us this opportunity to tell you goodbye instead of vanishing without a trace. I will miss you and Alex. Your posts were always interesting reading, often from the point of view of the disenfranchised even though you're both financially comfortable. It is heartening that you give back to the gay community without a second thought. Speaking as someone from near the bottom of the economic ladder, it always gave me hope when I read how much the two of you really care.
It's true, I didn't know you well. But I will miss you all the same. Enjoy the direction the next phase of living takes all of you. You will be missed here. Take care my friends.
