What's the meaning of your username?
#21
The user name part is obvious, and boring

The Twist's stick part? Much more interesting to write out...

When Twist and I first got together, we were in an online chatroom when a girl who was an acquaintance of both of us proceeded to "shove a hand" into my pants....(Yes I know it was an online chatroom and she couldn't literally do it, but that's beside the point entirely) For myself? I didn't even -notice- because my attention was all on him.

Twist though, he encountered his very FIRST real hint of possessiveness or jealousy and took the girl to task in a very blunt manner, then proceeded to "write" Twist's stick on my abs in marker with an arrow pointed down....*Grins* I'll never forget just how shocked he was at his reaction, just how freaked out he was by it and how PLEASED I was to know that he felt so possessive of me. It took me awhile to convince him that this was okay, that I actually enjoyed it, but the moniker has stuck and it's been mine for more than six years now.

MAMZA is actually the acronym of my real full name. Alfred on the other hand, originally came from Al (which is my real name),but then was made a nickname by a guy,and I like it despite I no longer contact that guy,so I keep using it as my username especially on dating sites.

When I fist came up with it, I needed a new name for online stuff - I had used Simon DeBlanc for a while (it was a nom de plume I used in real life as a joke) and wanted something different.

So the Anger part of the name came out of me being obsessed with Kenneth Anger at the time, and I added Johnny because it's quite innocuous.

My old nom-de-plume was Simon DeBlanc (one I used in real life as a joke), but that was a bit to much of a real sound name for the internet and I wanted to keep it for stupid writings and such. Thus the birth of JohnnyAnger.

At the time I was going through a big Kenneth Anger thing, and took the Anger part from that. I added Johnny to it as it was fairly innocuous.

Nickname I have had for a long time due to preferring manual transmissions. The last band I was in, there was someone else with my same first name, so my BF's late dad coined Shifty for me.

When I was but a wee lad, I had a straight friend who seemed to constantly be in the need for a pseudonym. I can still hear him using his "deep voice" while saying, "Jack Bone" on the telephone to someone. Now it's my pseudonym Smile

Oh, you thought it was a J/O reference??

SHUN THE PERVERT! SHUNNNNNN-UH.

When in the second grade, a friend started singing the old song "Jim-crack-corn" as we were walking home from school one day. It was in reference to my first name being 'Jim'.

I used it for my user name because it was easy for me to remember.
