teaching about sex
#11
Sex is like swimming... you can't really learn too much from reading or watching. You gotta just jump in and flail about with your arms and legs and try to remember to breath and hope you make it to the other side.

Practice practice practice (porn and masturbation doesn't count).

Don't worry much, you can be MIMIDOSHIMA before your real sex!
Like everything, sex needs pratice. If you are doing it, you will have a lot of things to learn! And remember one thing: safe-sex.
Good luck guy!

Sex is also like riding a bike. Once you've done it once, you never forget how

Also, if you fall off, just get back on and keep going.

Also, save the jumps until after you've mastered the basics.

Most people just fumble through and figure it out over time.

Actually there are workshops you can take and videos you can watch that might be useful. Look up Body Electric, Faerie Sex Magick, or simply erotic massage for men.

Texas was a lot like that (though plenty of sex going on and not just the straight kind, but the ignorance was intense, including my own and I'd bothered to go to the effort to find books at the public library) but I was grateful to find a site designed to educate girls about sex and our changing bodies. I was so grateful that even strapped for cash I sent them money.

Surely there's a site like that for gay men? I just did a quick google search and it was all about the issues of sex ed in school or pornography and I don't have the patience to try to find a good site, but surely someone has?

I told the first guy I was ever with that he was my first and he found it an incredible turn on. I got a very thorough education lol - I told him up front because I figured it was better to have him know I was clueless than to let him think I was just a lousy lover...
