Is it weird if a grown man doesn't have a beard?

I remember as a kid there was one of the guys who was a big time heart throb on a Tv series, (maybe Melrose Place) who was being interviewed. He said he couldn't grow face hair. He went to a doctor who ran tests on him and found out he was a Chimera with 2 sets of DNA in his organs and glands. From what I know about it a human Chimera is fraternal twin embyos in the womb with one of them being absorbed in the other. Now that DNA testing is more common they are finding more human chimeras.

That's just one more possibility to worry about.

I've got a friend who's 30 years old now and has a very smooth chin. He has never shaved just because he doesn't have anything to shave. Needless to say, he's really unhappy about it. Is there something wrong with his health? Or are there men who cannot grow a beard?

It's genetic. I'm 30 and can barely grow a pathetic goatee. Can't even grow a full beard if I tried. There's nothing wrong with him. Just how he is

I'm grown and I can't grow a beard either. I get some fuzz every few days and I just trim it off. I don't think it's weird...it's all in the genes.

I think there could be a Twilight Zone episode about this very subject. Not having a beard... on a man... it's so... weeeeeeeird.
