All the last week I was sorting all the old things I had in boxes for years and among I've found some old cell phones so before to give it to some friends needing a cell phone I checked the memory cards contents and I was really right to do it: on two of them I've found two forgotten really hard sex-tapes! It just means that your sample of the gay population has behaved in a very similar way. So just to broaden your horizons, I haven't made any such video, and I'd vouch that I know other gay men who haven't either.
So now you do know a gay guy who hasn't made a sex-related video of himself. It's a question of generation as well.
Let's not make sweeping generalisations.

But, Bovaryst, you said 1) it was an art film (you could be excused for showing your naked body) and 2) you accepted to make the film thinking it would cure you of your great shyness.
My question is: did it cure you of your great shyness? Did you feel you had improved that aspect of your personality after doing the film? From what you've told us, there is nothing to be ashamed of. It must have been strange, though, to have to behave sexually with a woman if you had never done it. Did that widen your horizons? About the movie itself, mmmh… Yes, you're right, I have to admit that my words were very tough... In fact my friends who had watched it told me the film was beautiful, I mean the film's image esthetic quality, good effects of light and shade do I use the right words? (a black-and-white film) but the story and the editing were rambling and ruined it with something too provocative, disturbing and almost vulgar…

I know it's not my own judgement -as I don't have the balls to watch it- but I trust my friends.
