Yea, cuddly is right its magic: the gathering. a popular game where im located. Usually someone is playing in the computer science lab Big Grin.
Its a card game of two or more people who build decks from like 48 sets and 16 editions at roughly 210 cards or there about per set Wink LOTS of options depending on the format.
The goal is to reduce opponents life total to zero or deck them. Its like yugioh only much more complicated and less cartoonie, suggested age is 13+ as it does have some harder ideas to grasp.

It's amazing that it's still a thing. It's from 1993!!

WOW, just WoW! But on account of it being from 1993 is there any reason to discard it (no pun intended)...? I'm from 1959, should I be discarded? Monopoly is from the 1930s I believe, people are still playing it.
Haha.

Haha.

It's not quite comparable. To play Magic you need 2 or more persons who have spent enough money to have the actual cards and created a deck. Then you need to know the rules and get together to play, from time to time.

I get what you're saying, ofcourse, but it's a hobby-type-game. The kind of thing that I'd imagine people would have fun with for a while and then quit, because they had nobody to play with or because they found something more fun to do. It's not exactly an accessible game, like Monopoly, where anybody can sit down and give it a go.

Ah, so it's more like the unlikelihood of any music formation getting together and jamming?

Oh honey when I read your title of the post, I actually read it as "For the horde"... so that gives you an idea how nerdy I am Cool

I play video games a lot. I play almost anything from MMORPGs to RTS and what not. At the moment I'm really into indie rogue-likes. I also like MTG, didn't get into it that much since I play HS. I read a lot of fiction, I just need my fix of imagination everyday. On top of that I watch a lot of movies and some shows. I tried to get into anime and manga, but I guess I'm not into them that much.

So it's pretty much hard to keep up with my inner "nerdiness" since it's so broad, and I don't have a lot of free time to just sit and read or play... but at least love that side of me.

I don't know if it's nerdy or just plain silly, but I also really like animated movies, especially Disney. The Lion King and Beauty and the Beast are my favorites of all, but also I think recent releases like Wreck-it Ralph and Frozen are excellent, too.

I'm a big fan of comic strips; my current faves are Depression Comix and Scandinavia and the World.

My sister has been a big Eve fan for years. She actually met her boyfriend on there, from halfway around the world. Now she lives over there with him.

yay for suikoden and final fantasy series! I also love anything related to legend of zelda

Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past was one of my favorites! I remember wasting a lot of time in that game just cutting down bushes/looking for rupees LOL.
