I agree with everything Twist said. An online or long distance relationship can be extremely loving, fulfilling and obviously lasting...we've been doing it for seven years and I wouldn't trade it for ANY other relationship in the world. That isn't to say I don't wish he was here with me right now, or that I was there with him and could be with him every moment of the day....

But what we have is very real and it is a monogamous relationship. I would hope if he found the need to be with someone else face to face, day to day, that he would at the very least come to me and talk to me about it. Not doing so? Well that would destroy the trust we have spent these seven years building and would essentially destroy -us-

Trust is a key in any relationship but ESPECIALLY a long distance one.

I want to give my thoughts ,I would say go for the one that is in real life and keep talking to the online man as a friend . I am not saying that you can't be with the man on line it is just really hard to have a long distant relationship .I know people do it everyday and it works for them I just do not want you to get attached to him and end up getting hurt when it does not work out . I wish you all the best of luck
