I probably spend more time composing music than actively listening to other people's music these days. I don't know if I feel defined by it, but there is a literal sense in which my music may be said to define me ... <ponders>
I'm doubt that any music is metaphorically schizophrenic enough to define me. However I wish I were defined by Mozart's Jupiter Symphony, however I am very rarely that brilliant.

UGH, I guess I could say "Neroli" by Brian Eno but that would be too etherial... So will have to say I have always wanted the song that defines me to be:
which is a very nice version with some fun personal moments
not the best quality sound but I nearly lose it when I see his face in this clip:
It's so difficult to pin-point one song that defines you.
So many songs, so many moods, so many experiences
blah, blah, blah.
I'd have to say that 'How Soon Is Now' by The Smiths
always rang true with me.

I am a huge Smiths fan and couldn't agree more. Morrissey's lyrics are truly inspiring. As well as 'How soon is now', I would say 'A rush and a push and the land is ours' pinpoints moments in my life.
