I had the chicken pox as a child. I received a measles immunization as a child, so I am not too worried.
Once again, the news is into sensationalism. Headlines read like this, "January 2015 Saw More Measles Cases Than All of 2012," making it sound like there is some dire epidemic going on. January had 102 cases of measles reported in the U.S., 102 in a country of 320 million people.

Interesting that this should come up while the Republicans are campaigning against required vaccinations.
I bid NO Trump!

I had everything growing up......but I would point out that for those who had Chicken Pox as children....shingles is a cunt as a disease as well. So if you are over 50...think about getting the vaccine.

as kids we had had everything...but what happened as children we built up immunity as if you get them older they can be dangerous - these days kids don't play together anywhere near as much so they get outbreaks and people panic like its the plague

i was a kid when mmr-vaccination came. it is/was for free here since 1982 and it literally eliminated mumps, rubella and measles here. but i do remember i had parotitis (mumps) when i was a kid maybe it was before 1982...
