It ain't da Vinci

I understand that some days...things get a little slow in the art world.

But even a high school art student could tell us that the painting (on canvas even) is no da Vinci.

The plume and the crown are just ham handed.......

I have to concur. Not just the crown and the plume, the whole thing looks rather crude. I would prefer to see a much larger photo so that I could examine it in detail but from what I can see, I wouldn't even attrribute it to one of his pupils.

So if it ain't DaVinci maybe it's his lady friend?

Doesn't even look good enough to be a chocolate wrapper. Why are the Swiss admitting they found it?

That's far from da Vinci. His works are always alive. This is just dead feeling.
