School Vacation on Grindr

So I installed Grindr to reach out to potential friends and for chat. I wasn't looking for hook-ups, dirty talk, nor pics.

Well, it is obvious that the school kids who lie about their age are getting bored and are hitting me up. I have received two "Hi daddy" posts in the last two hours. I have found that Grindr works better if you actually enter information about what you are looking for, and what you are not looking for, but some of these kids must not be able to read. I'm sorry, but I am not looking to have horny chat with guys just 3 years older than my daughter (though they look three years younger). Of course, these could be trolls using pics from other resources.

Luckily there is a block feature.

Someone told me that it was fun to open Grindr or Growlr during the pride parade, because you could actually see a bunch of guys go by on the app. I created an account (don't recall on which) with some basic correct info about me (age, hairiness, sex preference), along with a fake name and a picture of a cartoon gorilla. I wasn't actually going to use it for anything but this, so I didn't bother filling out anything else. By the time the parade was over, I had eleven messages. One was close to my age, and actually recognized the gorilla. The other ten were all under the age of 30, and wanted to bottom for me. Or, perhaps, they wanted to bottom for a cartoon gorilla. And who can blame them - that gorilla was pretty hot.

...not really interested in going that route, but I guess it's nice to know it's available if I ever do.

Grindr came up so I tried it for about 45 minutes. I thought I was clear on what I wanted but I guess not. Or maybe you're right and they can't read. I got this message with all this cheesy porn talk and a dick pic (not that impressive lol). He said tell him what I'd like to do with it (the dick) and I was going to suggest Enlargement Through Photoshop, but just deleted the app instead.

People do not read profiles. It's a numbers game where if you ask 100 people if they wanna fuck, 10 will say yes.

I agree they do not read the profiles !! Then they get all pissed off and rude when you tell them no you do not want to hook up with them . I do have a few friends on the app but most of the men there are extremely rude and drama queens !!

more often than naught, i used it to pass time...however, ig a slightly "better" alternative

but those "dating" apps is like finding a needle in a haystack. it's much easier to find a horn dog...plus if you want a mr. right now, just use it.

if you want a mr. right, it will take a lot more effort to sort it out...just don't take it TOO seriously and you'll be fine.

That being said, I've always considered that site to be a hook-up site, so I assume most of the guys there just want to get their freak on. Can you find friends there? Sure. You can find a caterer too, if you're patient enough.

When I was fresh of coming out, one of my colleagues named Evan installed Grindr into my Iphone. He was excited for it. My other colleagues including my managers were excited too. I was not.

Evan thought it was a good idea to have Grindr in my Iphone so that I can make friends with other gay guys. He knows Grindr through his gay brother.

We eventually realized Grindr's main purpose is for sex. Evan thought his younger brother uses Grindr to make friends.

Nonetheless all of my straight male and female colleagues had fun browsing guys. Particularly shirtless guys. They rated them.

I thought it was very sad to find so many closet married guys with children looking for sex. Most of them were Muslims guys.
