Yanno, Virge, I considered the possibility of your suspicion when I replied to this one. I am beginning to think that there should be a board rule that such stuff can't be posted until after the 20th post. So much of it shows up as the first lengthy screed of a newbie.

I sometimes even think that it may be the SAME newbie who gets off on it all.

Am I overly skeptical or just experienced but gullible?

I haven't been around long enough to know how things work, but one thing I noticed that seemed a little odd. I see a bunch of new members and their first post is about whatever issue they're having and then a lot of people answer them but the OP doesn't seem to ever post more. Like I saw a post today from a couple weeks ago that someone decided to add a response to today, but the OP was listed as still having only one post. I could see maybe 1 or 2 people doing that, but there seem to be quite a few. IDK, just odd...
