If I sing "take me to church" in my head just one more time I shall require thy rod and thy staff to comfort me. Xyxwave

I don't particularly like this song - at first, I was a bit disgusted. But things that disgust you oft times stick in your head.

Driving long distance as much as I do I've gotten to enjoy and know some of the radio stations on the routes I take. There are some hilarious DJs out there who take calls from all sorts of nuts and just about break the barriers of what can be said on radio.

Anyway one of them played this song about 2am Monday after talking with a stoned woman who called in about having been raped by men from another galaxy when she was younger and wishing they'd come back.. I busted out laughing when I listened to the song and it's been stuck in my head over 96 hours now

HAHAHAHA.......

For a long time..this song was standard fare at 1:30 at alot of gay clubs ....

At 1: 30 exactly...the music went down...and then the DJ said LAST CALL...LAST CALL FOR THE BAR.... YOU HAVE FIVE MINUTES TO ORDER AND TEN MINUTES TO DRINK ...LAST CALL

...and then all the lights would go out and you heard...

"Come with me tonight...all across the Universe we will sail for the skies...meet behind Mars....."

I could sing the whole song in my sleep

...and as soon as the slow part stopped...the strobe lights went back on and YIKES...the walls would shake with people screaming. It was always capacity crowds back then....I am trying to remember when but I think this went on for about three years 1978-1979-1980...

It was so loud I had to learn to read mouths and learn sign language to make a zillion drinks in the last five minutes and I had to compete with Cheryl Lynn...she always won....
