Want to be a lighthouse keeper?

What? Even under these conditions?

I'd love that job!

Love stormy seas. I spent my childhood at the beach dodging waves, and I couldn't wait to get down there on stormy days! I'd go home later with a tide mark up to my neck and get a roasting off my parents!

I have saved this picture but I keep coming back to it. What must a lighthouse keeper feel in the middle of that?

Absolutely spectacular photo.

I do like rough beaches much better than sunny beach ball weather. Though balls on the beach can be pretty!

I would love that. I could finally get some rest.

Sadly, (?) all the lighthouses are automatic electronic gadgets these days. There are a few of them that you can pay to stay at for a weekend.

Much to the dismay of my partner, I already am a light housekeeper.
