If my math is correct, out of the 5 threads you've started, four have been introductions/looking for friends themed. The 5th was a very generic "Go Raiders" thread.

If you want people to get to know you, then you should consider replying to other's posts. The sharing of support, ideas, opinions...even casual humorous exchanges...are how we get to know one another and form friendships. If you don't have much going on right now, don't feel compelled to start new threads...just read the existing threads and put your own two cents worth in. There are some great guys here, you'll find that it's well worth the effort.

Pyromancer had some excellent advice, [MENTION=22724]ShyBiJerseyguy[/MENTION]. You've mentioned your shyness and your desire for friendship. You just have to accept that shyness is your nature, but even though this is not the real life world, it can be an excellent place to practice not letting that hold you back. Get involved with some of the less serious, fun threads here. It is a great way to get to know some people and for people to get to know you. We discuss here a lot more than just things like coming out, boyfriend problems and falling in love with a coworker. You did good today with your Raiders thread, so also keep up with that kind of stuff.mile:
