I used to have "Songs About Fucking" up on my wall at college.

There was a period in the 70s when naked guys were often on prog-rock album covers. I usually liked the album covers more than the albums. But I could at least stare at these and pretend I was getting into the music rather than ogling the guy's butts.

One of my fave album covers is Madonna's debut album.

It's a striking photo, simple B&W, giving everyone an image of a look that will soon take over the world, messed up hair, bows, and tons of bracelets.

A lot of my favorite covers...a few I framed...are artist's interpretations...

Roberta Flack and Donny Hathaway....I like this because they were halfway though with the album when she committed suicide and broke her heart...so she picked up the rest of the LP with the help of some of her friends....

Not necessarily artistic masterpieces...but I loved the creativity in photography that is also considered art..capturing an artist in a light that is unique and revealing is an art....
