I saw my friend from Clear Lake last Sunday and he told me that the media has exaggerated the evacuation thing...and we laughed....

I used to have a place up in Clear Lake...and there aren't even as many people in Lower Lake as they say have been evacuated....for some reason the media feels that exaggerating will get more people to tune in....

Having said that....the fire really IS as bad as it looks...

ive seen pictures of the houses burning ...that must be devastating - do the issuance company's pay out for these disasters or are they like UK insurers who wriggle out of paying up by saying its an act of god so tough luck..

one camera crew filmed what could only be describes as a tornado of fire shooting out of the top of a once beautiful home - its was spinning so fast it looked super charged
