What pets do you have?

I had a dog when I was in high school, who really became more my mom's pet than mine. The only pet I've had so far that was truly my own was a hamster. I had him a couple of years before I entered high school, and it was the Angora hamster with longer hair. Once he got out of his cage and was presumed done with, till I found him messing around in some old cardboard boxes a couple of months later. He bit me once when I tried to take him out of his cage and he didn't want it, but he was generally a nice pet, kept about his business and was very low-maintenance. Didn't mind petting generally. I liked having him, but he died after a few years.

sister now had as a budgie that I see nearly everyday - was surprised when he said "fuck you" he does repeat words like his name and the dogs names or a few words but hes heard fuck you too many times - were addressing our conduct around him now

My Meanie passed away back in July after 18 years.
I had an extremely hard time adjusting to being without.

My new baby's name is Luna.

She's so cute and want to eat her all up!!

I have to two cats, I am so glad to be fortunate to have them since they were little kittens, They both are 7 years old. I consider them as my companions and room mates <3 <3 <3

Here we have 2 cats, 2 dogs, and 2 parrots, actually we have 35 parrots and still counting because 2 couples are on eggs, 5 in total, we are still expecting one egg tomorrow. but only 2 parrots are officially house pets, others are to breed with.

Here's Claude (Russian Blue - rescue) and Basil (Maine Coon mix - barn rescue). Both are boys and back sleepers. We are still working on turning Basil into a lap cat. He's getting there. Claude loves getting held and snuggling but really is my partner's cat.




Tooty was my cat but passed away a couple years ago. His original name was Dew as in Mountain Dew and belonged to my neighbor while we rented a townhouse outside of Chicago. The neighbors had 5 cats, 3 dogs, and 4 children in tiny townhouse. I called Tooty over one night as we were drinking on our patio. He jumped right into my lap and soaked up some loving. He quickly adopted us and moved right into our townhouse.

I was feeling guilty like we stole the neighbor's cat and offered to buy him from them. My neighbor was all for it and said - hey 1 less mouth to feed, and your welcome to keep him.

We moved him to Missouri with us. I swear his spirit / ghost now haunts our house. Occasionally I'll see him out of the corner of my eye. Basil and Claude will seem him near our washer and dryer.
