I really want to say something to make you feel better and warm you up a bit. But about the best I've got is "don't give up on love". Since i'm not a cheesy advice columnist i'm not gonna say that.
How about.....
Have you tried dating an autistic person?
Doing charity work?
Reading the works of Charles Bukowski?
I mean if you're going to give up you should at least do it artistically.
bukowski.net (I think you'd really like him.)
"The Dead Stay Alive Too Long And The Living Live Too Little" - Charles Bukowski
And what the hell i'll throw in some Laozi too.
“Being deeply loved by someone gives you strength, while loving someone deeply gives you courage.â€Â- Laozi
Have you tried Arsenic? Cyanide?
I did charity work, also planted tens of thousands of trees so your generation could have forests and air to breath.
What do I get in return? some 20 something year old sniveling because he can't get laid in the past three years.
"bukowski.net (I think you'd really like him.)"
Well you thought wrong.
The problem here sonny boy is I am an old, grumpy old man who has hella health issues, is currently residing in a medical shelter for sick homeless men. In the past couple weeks I have been stoically informed that whilst the calendar says only 49 years have passed, my bones record 80-90 years of degeneration (it would appear I have osteoporosis) . So funny you would mention dry leaf, appearantly I run a serious risk of breaking something expensive like a hip from a simple fall. And it would pretty much end like it ends for an 85 year old who breaks their hip (you know death).
the other problem here is you didn't really read me. SEX ain't the important thing. SEX ain't love - so a period of three years without sex or without being in a relationship really isn't that important.
Especially in a world where there are well over 7 billion, with millions starving to death, oceans dying, and billions of humans suffering from real life changing tramatic events which are horrific.
There is nothing you can say to "warm me up".
I have weighed your species in the balance and you have been found wanting. I see a lot of humans but little humanity....
Fix that and you will warm me up.
And since we are quoting people:
I have to bring to your notice a terrifying reality: with the development of nuclear weapons Man has acquired, for the first time in history, the technical means to destroy the whole of civilization in a single act.
