I have two pairs of jeans. One pair has a hole between the legs. I have to be careful my balls don't fall out of them. I don't think anyone would look good if they dressed like me. I look like I have the plague.

I love a man wearing clothes that fit perfectly, or maybe clothes that are a bit tight. I like seeing a man's trousers tight against his ass.

Overall, I like it when men put thought into their clothes... but yes, of course its all about whats inside that counts. But photos of handsome men in nice clothes never hurt nobody.

those are very nice choices.

also --- there's no such thing as being overdressed. there is being underdressed, but you can wear suit and tie to a football game.

Thats true, but you got to have the confidence to pull it off. Im not totally one to make myself stand out from a crowd like that. Thats partly why Im such a boring dresser Sad

Holly Molly!!! the pics above are wow!!

I try to dress for the occasion... I have clothes that I wear to lounge around the house,,, clothes for working in the yard,,,, clothes for going about town - shopping, going to post office etc. And suits for going out to lunch or dinner, funerals, court appearances etc..

Yes, my closet is full!!!!!!

I figure at my age, I have to dress-up just to get any attention at all (poor me).....

Oh honey, don't mind me, there's nothing to be sorry about. Stuff gets stuck in my head all the time. All day I've been picturing Anocxu in naught but a pink thong and pretty pink pumps. I have no idea why. Hmmmmm...

I have a couple of nice shirts, and my favorite thing I own is a black leather jacket. So mostly casual, but I try to keep it looking put together, not like I just rolled out of bed and this is what was clean...

It sounds like you're doing fine, but want to add some flare to your wardrobe. Make sure what you do have fits you well. If you invest in an expensive shirt, vest, or pants, take the extra step of having them tailored if necessary. Usually it's necessary. Most off-the-rack clothing will look twice as good if its tailored it fit your body. Try to keep the tailoring option open for more expensive pieces of clothing only... usually the cost of the tailoring shouldn't exceed the cost of the clothing.

When you walk into a store look to the clothing that normally you wouldn't even consider. That includes colors and patterns you usually wouldn't look at twice. The best way for you to add some flare to your collection is to step away from all those safe things you're normally drawn to in a store. Pick a large assortment of shirts, vests, coats, or pants from those clothing racks that seem out of your comfort zone, and take them to a dressing room. The art of finding a great piece of clothing is in the sometimes tedious task of trying on many, many, many things before you find the one thing you get excited about.

When it comes to mirrors people are usually their own worst enemy. Try very hard not to be overly critical, or have tunnel vision of how you look personally. Remember that it should be about how the clothing looks on you. Often when people try on new clothes they are sort of programmed to look at themselves first and check for flaws. It's what everyone does when they get up in the morning: look into the mirror to see what might need attention.

It's difficult habit to break, but a mirror isn't just for checking out flaws, it also reflects a whole picture of yourself. How does the clothing look on you? How does it fit? How does it move when you walk? Does it pull or pucker at seams, darts, or hemlines? Where does the yoke of a shirt fall on your shoulders? Hoes does it make you feel to wear it? If you feel good in it, ask yourself if it is appropriate for you? Is it age appropriate? Does it have a purpose? Where might you wear it? Is it something you'll buy but then never wear?

The bottom line with mirrors is that if you look into them with an attitude of doubt and fear chances are those are the things that will be reflected back. Keep a positive attitude and stay confident.

The clothing doesn't need to be expensive designer wear to look good. If you see an expensive outfit you like, there are usually less expensive options that will substitute for each item. If you find an inexpensive shirt you like, buy a couple of them. In different colors maybe.

Layer clothing when possible. In the winter months that's easy; in warmer months it's more difficult. I sometimes like to wear a fashion tee shirt with an outer button down shirt which I'll leave unbuttoned and untucked. Watch the bottom shirttail style if you leave a button down shirt untucked. I know of three bottom types...straight cut (squares off at the bottom), classic (with a upward curve on the sides), and cut (with a triangle cut on the sides). My opinion is that you can make any of them work assuming the shirt length is right. A button down shirt should stop right at the crotch when untucked.

Find a way to change that dynamic Emiliano. Just looking at your avvy I can totally see you in a number of the outfits you pictured here. You just have to believe in yourself. Confidence doesn't necessarily scream bold and unable to miss. Sometimes confidence can be stylishly subtle and stroll quietly into a roomful of people.

Nope, there's nothin' wrong with a sharp dressed man. Wink
