What muscle is supposed to contract when using the anerous

So apparently a muscle will start contracting al by itself ie automatically, what muscle is contracting automatically is it the pc muscle, what does it feel like, for some reason i automatically start thrusting my pelvis forward like having sex, and its like fully automatic but I get the impression thats completely the wrong way to do it
