You're right, of course. Thanks. And thanks for the suggestion of the books, I will check them out.

So now that this thread is officially a porn thread..
Should we just post pics of buns and sausages?

And who the hell is Clair?

It might as well be a porn thread. My chili was really blah and very disappointing. The few meals I have cooked that were flops left me feeling like a failure and that cooking was just not for me. I know that is wrong and I will try again with another recipe.

Yes, I do cook and from my friend's reaction ....I am told that I am a pretty good cook...I took a course while still high school and further advanced my skills over the years. A couple of my boyfriends' moms are excellent cooks and they taught me a lot as well. I used to cook Thanksgiving dinner for my buddies which was always received well...haven't done this in awhile...and may do it this year...

The first thing that came to mind when I saw your nude pics....

Would it make you feel better if I told you I was disappointed enough for the both of us?

I am good for 20 minutes or less cooking. I do fish...salads..veggies...eggs...good...and now I am becoming a pro with the NutriBullet which accounts for at least one but usually two of my meals a day. I am working on making the perfect shake.....

So far...my best recipe...Kale-English Cucumber-Avocado-Blueberries-Strawberries-Bartlett Pear-Fuji Apple-Peach-A few Grapes and a few Dark Sweet Cherries...

I don't know, I followed the recipe carefully with no variations on my part. It cooked for six hours in a crock pot, then you add two different kinds of beans the last ten minutes.
Maybe it was just the recipe? I got if from Yummly. What caught my eye was that it called for cocoa and since I have had chili that had chocolate in it, I thought would be good to try. It wasn't bad, just not very tasty. It had 2 1/2 Tbsp. of chili powder in it, too.

It all got eaten and everyone just doctored it up. Oh, well....
