How do you spend time with your boyfriend?

In my last relationship we always did something different, whether it was drinking at a night club, going to a museum, hiking a mountain, cuddling on the couch watching a movie, we always seemed to find something to do, everyday was an adventure, until he met.. that's a story for another day.

We're both quiet and not into bars or the scene, so we do stay in a lot. We have a lot of journal reading to do for our respective disciplines/professions so we can just be together and be content. We also run/exercise together. When we do go out it's to the science museum, college football games with our group of friends, and lectures at the university.

Since I'm in school and study most evenings until the wee hours of the morning at times, we have a dedicated date night, usually cook together, snuggle on the couch and catch up on TV shows we follow.

My family does a family trip-vacation thing and we have a lot of fun with my two sisters and my parents. We did take one trip by ourselves and that was pretty wonderful. So I definitely want to travel in the future.

I feel a kinship with you in this way, in that, the island in the Carribean from which I come hate gay men with an order of hate that would set the Bible or any paper on fire.
It is Dreadful growing up gay in such an environment.

With my ex, mostly we stay inside cause he only gets 1 off day, and the few times we were outside, I once took him for a walk in the park with a bit picnic, it was a fun day, and the other time we just went out for a movie,after visiting some relatives and friends of him. I'd like to do more outing stuff or even travel,but with his limited free time and lack of travel document,it was impossible. =/
