Not by any means would I prefer that Germany had "won." It is just that looking at such destruction and hardship I do not see how anyone can beglad of the result. Looking at these pictures it is easy to see that war is indeed hell. I also have first hand experience of the psychic scars left on the so-called victors.

There is nothing in the video that suggests that anyone is/was glad. It is just an interesting historical document.
