I briefly thought about setting up my server run IIS (webserver) but takes some commitment, and since I don't actually have a static IP I have to go with something like No-IP...more red tape than it's worth. So Flickr it will probably be...
But thanks for the compliments...I have a really neat "super" macro shot of a read/write head from a 500 GB notebook hard disk...it's of course not much in an artistic respect but taking a picture of something smaller than a flake of pepper and getting it at the just the right angle and in focus was pretty cool and just looking at the design of the thing...
you can post all your photos here on gayspeak. better than deviant - art of course, people here are more appreciative than posting your art on a website full of deviants.

Even do a little bit on film...then after having to wait over a week to get a roll of film developed I learned how to develop C41 process film myself...but anyway, these are my favorites that I have done...
There's more but this is a good start...I'm kind of nuts for macro photography...than and astronomical photography...timelapse and so on.

Who are you calling deviants?

Axel: Don't ever forget that no matter what quality lenses you have, unless you have an "eye" for photograohy, you can still turn out high quality but lousy photos. Many people seem to be able to turn out good photos taken with an iPhone.
Here's a couple of mine both taken with a simple Canon "Point & Shoot" camera on automatic. To add to the difficulty, the one of the pigeon was taken through a double glazed window.
I use a couple of P&Ss for sheer convenience. I can carry them with me most of the time, something I couldn't do if I used a good quality SLR with multiple lenses. I use a Canon SX250 HS and a Panasonic TZ30. I have another, larger Canon but it is rarely used because of its bulk.
