Nothing we can do here will be of better help than proffesional aid.

If you refuse to seek it, we can't do anything for you and no one else will be able to either.

Eating disorders are a serious issue that requires certain knowledge that only expert professionals can provide. You mentioned you can’t seek help from them, so I was wondering if the reason is because of money; if that’s the case, is there a chance you could search assistance in a nonprofit organization/clinic where you live?.

Behind them there’s a combination of behaviours that have been present for a long time, derived from certain factors:

Psychological:

-Low self-steem

- Feelings of lack of control in your life or inferiority complex.

-Depression, anxiety, lonesomeness, resentment.

Interpersonal:

- Problematic personal and familiar relationships

- Difficulty to express your feelings and emotions

- Trauma because you were harassed of bullied based on your size or weight

- A story of physical or sexual abuse

Social:

- Peer and culture pressure that glorifies slimness and values to posses a “perfect body”

- Concrete definitions, standards and concepts of beauty that only include women or men with certain weights and shapes.

- Cultural norms that value people based on their physical appearance and not in their inner qualities and virtues.

The help of a specialist is gonna be fundamental to help you to solve the problem. It’s like if you’ve had a throat/stomachache for a long time and people tell you to buy certain generic medicine that they know works for temporary/simple discomfort; it may work and ease the pain a bit but may not help you to eradicate the root cause.

However, if it’s of any help in the meantime (while you receive proper attention/treatment from a professional), perhaps you might want to spare some details about your life: how old are you, since when did you started to have those problems, if there’s something that has been bothering your lately, and so on. At least you might be able to vent your sorrows a bit and get tips or advices to start working in your problem and get a solution. But yeah, it will still be a panacea; the real cure will come with the help of a professional.

In any case, you’ve taken the first step by seeking help, which is very good.

Greetings.

You say you are not mature enough to get help. I take it this means you are underage and can't go to the doctor without your parent's knowledge.

Why not ask to go to the doctory because you do not feel well. Then tell the doctor what is bothering you. You could even call ahead and explain to the doctor or his nurse that you need to speak to the docotr alone and ask them to set that up, to distract your parent or whatever.

You could also call any hospital and ask to speak to a nurse for some advice.

Your public health department should be able to help get you in touch with a youth crisis center that will see you. You might also see a school nurse or guidance counselor or even a trusted teacher.

This is indeed very serious and there is help out there. You just have to find it.

RainV i can relate to all of those except for the one about sexual abuse.

LJay you guessed it, i'm 14 and i hate every single person around me.. and no! i'm not just being a dramatic teenager... i have my reasons.
i'm 14 and all of this started to happen when my stress (i'v had stress for a long time without knowing, but now when i look back then i can see the signs were there) and in the end of august this summer it evolved into a depression, and i've had suicide thoughts for a long time, and because of my anorexia i get obssesive thoughts, and i really hate myself for it... and i live in a country where health care is free, but i'm just afraid my parents will find out, for a long time i've tought my self that i didn't want them to know cuz i didn't want their help and therefore didn't want to owe them anything, but i've begun to think that i might just dont want to dissapoint them cuz i feel like one big dissapointment to every body, and thats why i seek alot of attention near adoults cuz i dont feel loved at home..

OP you should really get some help in a professionalized setting.

You are way too young to be facing things like this and on top of all alone.

You've heard some ideas. Use them.
