Buds on the arms
#1
I am prob not the only guy on here who got buds on his arms.
Those little ugly annoying skin/red colored buds, that just looks..... well... not pretty?
And a lot of people seems to think they are pimples, or other stuff... but well, they are (in most cases) not, it's a VERY common and wide spread skin disease, and in my country (Denmark) at least 50% of the population got it, and i've been looking for some solutions around the internet, i even went to a drug store (that wasn't a lot of help i got there), so far i've come to the conclusion that it's because of dry skin, and other stuff, so do any of you guys out there have any sort of magic solution to solve the struggle?

If it is dry skin then bathing in water that is not hot, but only warm, using very mild soap and a moisturizing lotion may help

The first place I wold go for help is the doctor, who may refer you to a dermatologist.

Yeah, I get some on my arms...probably not pimples...it is likely keratosis pilaris...

Here's some info on it...

Basically you have dry skin... In my case I have a mix of that and acne...though I'm making it out to be really bad no I don't have it that bad but like you I just want my skin to be clear...

I dont have it very bad, i have a very little bit on my lower cheeks/my jaw line, a girl from my class got surprised a couple weeks when she noticed for the first time xD and then i have some one my upper arms, and i know what it is, but i cant find an actual solution, only stuff that ¨might¨ help it a bit, not something that will take it totally away, i know Theres not a cure, but... maybe Theres something that could at least make is disappear while you use it?

I haven't done much myself to try to stop mine...I assume we're talking about the same thing lol

What have you tried, anything make any difference?

I wasn't quite sure what you were talking about but then I saw the link...and I'm still not sure what you're talking about.

I have a rather noticable vaccination scar on my left arm and quite a few acne scars on my back if it makes you feel better Smile

Have you gone to a dermatologist? Any kind of specialist must know I think

I've used a hemp glove, and tried with Carbamid, but both just made it worse :/

LOL haha not really xD

No they dont, most docs just say that Thers no cure and that they cant do anything and i'll just have to live with it blah blah blah.... BULL SHIT. I know Theres no cure, but you can do something to it, but my doctor is very old fashioned, and also pretty old, and not really that updated i guess, so he still thinks you cant do anything to it, tho i think i'll try talking to him again, i got a lot of small things i better get tested and so Wink

MickTheMousie Well that doesn't sound promising...

Well I'll give it some time because for me it only got worse gaining weight so maybe if I lose weight it will stop? Definitely let me know if you find something that does work...or help it some...

Most docs? Well, that doesn't sound encouraging.

As for the current one, go get a second opinion!
