Very sad to hear that Natalie Cole has died ....loved her since the Mid 70s....RIP..so talented....

The song I most relate to her...you know young love..angst..drama...well...this was the song I drank to and cried over and over until it was all out of my system when this one guy I was completely in love with chose to leave the relationship....damn it hurt....I was pretty sure I was gonna die for a day or two...and this made me feel better.......so thanks Natalie!

Natalie was pretty successful, but not as "high-image" so I don't think she got the attention she deserved. Natalie was a hit-maker in the 70s, scoring quite a few Billboard Hot 100 hits.

After the success of "Someone That I Used To Love" (1980), Natalie began to use drugs, and the music suffered, and the hits pretty much stopped. She went to rehab and got clean. In 1987 she released the CD "Everlasting", and her comeback got a jump start with a song called "Jump Start".
