How to de-ice your windscreen

Lucky you. This week here is as cold as in Siberia. Today the high temp was -10 and tonight it will be -26. At these temperatures frozen windshields are the least of the problems. The biggest problem is to detach your frozen car from the ice beneath it.

I've never experienced conditions like that and hope I never do. It never snows where I live and today the temperature has been about 16ºC.

I usually just start the car, after the 40 mins it takes to snowblow the driveway and clear of the steps it's toasty warm and clear
