Well, I think it probably would have helped if you were out behind a mule guiding a plow all day. Lots of hefty, hearty stuff.

Grrrrrrrrr!!!!!! Got on the scales today. Grrrrrrrrrr I'm back in the gym doing weights ? I run every 2 day (hill running/crosscountry 3miles) I'm swimming 4 to 5 times a week. I have quite an active job. When im off work i never sit still . Dont watch a lot of telly. I eat right. Loads of veg ( n8t potatoes or the one that arnt that good for you) loads of fruit mainly apples , grapes & the occasional banana when doing weights. I dont eat anything with sugar in (except fruit) dont eat bread. Have a couple ofcrackers with a meal instead. Dont eat anything fried or fatty. Eat red meat perhape once per month at most. Eat chicken about 5 times per week but only small portion with a little pasta (only time i eat pasta)to go with a salad. i go through about a pint of milk a week. If i need and energy boost i wiil have rasins or some other dried fruit. So why the f@@@ cant i loose weight

Got my car written off by a drunk driver few days ago.....its an old car but has been looked after since new and has only done 30.000 miles in almost 10 year ..its immaculate and been serviced every year - just been told to expect £500 as that's a market value :eek: that wont even get me a decent push bike - talk about pissed off...how is that fair

I think the problem may be your eating too healthy ....your body needs certain fats..its a myth that fall fats are bad for you - your diet seems to be lacking in those sorts of things - even mens health magazine recommends things like butter on occasions, various nuts too for the essential oils and fats - your body must be storing everything as it doesn't know when its going to get things like carbs etc again - take bread for example that you avoid - in moderation, wholemeal contains plenty of things that are really beneficial...yes its has salt but everything in moderation is fine

Aww man, sorry to hear that you are having more bad news. Hopefully, things can only get better after this low. £500 may still be able to get you a little runabout in the mean time. Still, it is grossly unfair that this has happened to you in the first place. Drink drivers really are despicable! Bighug

I do eat nut occasionally (???? Take that as you will lol) i also like seed on things. But i know i probably dont eat enough fats. But struggle to eat anything fatty or that i think as being fatty. As for butter if i buy a tub it generally goes out of date before i get through about a 1/4 of it even if its the low fat butter mix thats supposed to last longer. I only want to loose about 1/2 a stone dont think any more than that would be healthy

I've generally felt grrrrrr for two weeks and for no real reason. Generally been annoyed by the smallest thing and unsociable. Maybe it's time I booked some holiday...

Shyl4l, if you are just getting started back with weights you will gain muscle first. It is heavier and so you will weigh more before you begin losing weight as the muscle ups your metabolism. Eat reasonably and drink only water and you will start to get results.
