I have a lot of dreams, and I fully believe they are influenced by what's going on in my life at the time. I've said here before that during particularly stressful periods in my life I'll have awful nightmares and wake up screaming out - usually crying for help. I know that sounds awful but it is rare.

I woke up a couple of months ago because in the dream I was building a massive Lego house and only woke up because my hand hit my wardrobe - I realised I was actually trying to build it in reality Smile Also my dreams tend to be very vivid with, for want of a better phrase, complex plot and very clear items. Like if there's a book in the dream I'll read a couple of pages and be able to see the words even though my brain is making the story in the book up as it goes. It might be linked to my creativity and my memory - I'm very good at remembering silly details about things.
Gossip is the Devil’s telephone; best just to hang up.

Ok, so I've remembered two dreams in a week, this, for me, is unusual. This dream was no more pleasant than the last one.

The dream started with me and a few school friends (a few of them I haven't seen in years, so it is odd I am dreaming about them now), for some reason we were trying to break into a military facility. We were successful as there bizarrely seemed to be very little security. What we were there for I do not know. As we moved through the facility, one of the group (I think it was Olivia, who I've not seen in about 5 years), said she felt uneasy and we should turn back, which the group agreed to and we walked straight back out again with little problem. It then cut to us being on the street I grew up on, running towards my dad's house (the family home before my parent's divorced), and we were being gunned down by men from the facility, I managed to get in the house but all my friends were shot down dead, their corpses littering the road and the garden. No-one was home, but my Mum eventually got home (odd again because she doesn't live there anymore) and the dream ended in us hiding in the living room as the gunshots faded and the last of my friends died.

Yeah, I seem to dream about mortal peril or actual death a lot it seems.
