Dreams
#1
I just kinda sat here on my lazy ass, thinking of a couple dreams i've had lately, and thought i would make a thread on GS where all of us could write our romantic/crazy/creepy/scary/happy/weird and so on... dreams down Big Grin and share them with each other.

Also, i wanna ask, do any of you guys and girls ¨believe¨ in dreams? that they have a meaning? personally i do Smile

I wish I could remember my dreams. Usually they're very surreal and disturbing, maybe that's why I forget them! I would like to lucid dream once, that'd be fun I think.

To help in remembering your dreams, place a journal and pen next to the bed. As soon as you wake, write down anything that you can remember. Before long, you will begin to recall your dreams more clearly.

As for believing in dreams, of course we should believe in them. They are reflections of our subconscious mind processing thoughts, ideas, issues, fears, experiences, etc. Many of our dreams are symbolic for what is plaguing us in real life and others can be fun and whimsical. Most have meaning and can be beneficial when interpreting that meaning for ourselves.

I rarely remember my dreams, but the ones I do remember often are ones of me being in mortal danger. In these dreams, I do lucid dream, as I realise it is a dream and physically pull myself out of the dream just before I die. I do this by closing my eyes tightly in the dream, then when I open them, I am awake. I have very little other control over my dreams though. As I said, I hardly remember any of them.

Oh goodie! We can all turn into Jungians and share dreams!

I think I woke up screaming last night. I'm not sure because no one was around o confirm it, but I certainly felt like that was going on. The dream had to do with something terrible about to be revealed and yet I think it was only a hermaphrodite in women's clothing being dragged down a rather bleak hallway. There was, of course, rising action to this drama but I do not really remember it.

This all may have to do with my sitting around in a messy house doing nothing all day and being depressed about it. My lack or energy is phenomenal.

And no, I am not making this up.
