Trump or Hillary as President, who else is petrified?

Well for me, aside from the fact that I just can't stand her, I think Hillary would go with all out war in the Middle East extending our stay there for at least another 20 years. That's probably my biggest objective, my other being I just don't find her to be sincere and I have no idea what she would actually try to get passed. I find Sanders infinitely more sincere, but have to concede he'd be lucky to get 10% of his ideas through (of which I'm not a staunch supporter either). Cruz needs to leave if there's any hope for the Republican party, but that's not going to happen. I'm not sure that Hillary would be able to beat Trump in the general election, there were past polls that supported that. Granted polls aren't necessarily indicative of anything, but I'm really afraid either way.

View from outside the USA
At least Hilary is pro LGBT. Rightly or wrongly, Trump is seen as a buffoon outside the USA, and I think he would be a disaster for international politics and USA's standing in the world. It was bad under Bush2, you aint seen nothing yet if Trump gets elected. I think the Republican party is close to tearing itself apart, and if it doesn't get its act together - assuming Trump gets the nomination, but doesn't get elected POTUS - its going to be in the political wilderness for years.
I'm voting for Bernie, if he looses to Hillary, I'll vote for her in the general election.
Between Hillary and the Republicans, Hillary is the lesser evil. It boggles my mind whenever I see fellow Bernie supporters say Trump is better (or less worse rather) than Hillary. I mean jeez, okay, fine, Trump is yet to sell his soul, so what? Trump's tax plan is still the same bullshit the other Republicans are trying to peddle - lower the taxes on the rich, and the rich, being "job creators," will make the economy boom. Yeah, I think we all know how that goes. Hillary might be of the status quo, but better the Obama status quo than the George Bush status quo.

Never been interested in politics as I think they are all corrupt - but for the first time ever im genuinely worried, the thought of Donald Trump been president scares the bejesus out of me....saw him onstage raving about him and his family are totally NRA...that was enough for me, He also raved about the wall he's gonna build between Mexico, the way he presented it sounded like The Berlin Wall - that failed to divide country's if anyone cares to tell him...........I honestly feel he could start a war and a mad man like Putin would happily oblige

I just don't understand how Trump got so far . . . Honestly, if Trump can do this much damage to US politics, then I see no reason why Kanye West can't succeed at becoming the next president.
Not saying I'd like Kanye for president, but he seems a more realistic candidate than Trump.

I'm more torn between Hillary and Bernie. Forget Trump, after watching that debate where he was just a total ass to everyone else up on the stage, I have more than 0 respect towards that man. He just needs to go back underground and never see the light of day - Ever - Again.
Hillary and Bernie gave good debate when I last saw them. I agree to both their points, and I fully agree more on the "lesser of two evils" in this angle. I'm actually very scared to see who will be the nominee for the Republican side.

Holocaust Survivors who KNOW what Hitler was like are saying it... http://www.irishcentral.com/opinion/nial...itler.html To me...it is obvious as hell. I had a nightmare a couple weeks ago where Trump gathered up all the people who didn't agree with him and charged them with treason.... I also have to tell you...there are a lot of "Bernie Supporters" who are NOT Bernie Supporters...they are Republicans with an agenda....

Trump is one of those people that I could see in a bad comedy that I'd never believe could be real. Like something off of the Simpsons when it's more absurd than satire. If the things he says in real life were instead a cartoon character on Family Guy or Simpsons, I'd think they were getting too far into the ridiculous. Something like this:
But somehow he's doing it in real life. I think this is one of those times that those who mock politics for comedy sake can't keep up with the reality. It really bothers me that he says the things he does and people CHEER...and would willingly vote for him as POTUS. Once again, I wasn't cynical enough. |
