Trump or Hillary as President, who else is petrified?
#21
If Trump were elected he would have to add two cabinet secretaries, one for PR damage control and one to be in charge of speech bleeping. The man is an ego trip proud to play games as a loose cannon. He gives no indication that he is able to work within a political framework in any way other than to demand that he have his own way. Looking at how effectively the congress has obstructed the requests of a not unreasonable government, one should have no trouble seeing that Trump would simply end up raving alone in the oval office.

Sadly, some of these raving, like his anti-gay bias could set the nation back decades.

Oh please, comparing Trump to Hitler? Seriously?
As J.K.Rowling, creator of Harry Potter, already pointed out, Trump is more like Voldemort ... only a lot worse.

To me it seems there are four groups of people that Trump is notably popular with:

1) People who see him as a character, a funny guy; I mean so he likes to exaggerate? He seems cool, speaks his mind and was on The Apprentice, so...

2) Other people who genuinely agree with him. Far right folk. fascists and authoritarian types.

3) Some moderates who have taking a liking to him just because a few positions he holds are to the left of most Republicans.(especially on healthcare, if I remember correctly?)

4) And lastly a group of people who like him because he's a political outsider. Anti-establishment.
The Libertarian/Ayn-Randian types(that he's stinking rich, a "self-made man", also attracts such folk)

I could be completely wrong, but that's the jist I get.

I currently think he would lose to Clinton by a comfortable margin.
As for Sanders...I couldn't say.
That Socialist Shtick didn't seem to hurt Obama much, but then it wasn't as true for Obama...

I'm ready to vote for Hillary or Bernie, whichever wins the nomination.

I hope no one wins.

Seriously, I hope the vote is a complete tie and the powers that be just decide "fuck it, we don't know what happened, we'll just not have a president this time around"

See what happens

I've always liked Hillary.
Although I took one of those issue/candidate selector quizzes a while back and I think I was aligned with Bernie 98%. lol. and Hillary 88%.

But, Bernie or Hillary, whoever wins the nomination. The Supreme Court is a big issue for me.
I love President and Mrs. Obama. I'm really going to miss them in the White House.

It may be easy to identify with Bernie Sanders in a lot of ways but practicality is not among them.

Hillary Clinton is far from perfect but she would not be an international embarrassment as president. I think she has the guts to give McConnell and Ryan a few pokes in the right places.

Poor Rubio looks pretty but he hasn't got a political chance in hell to win the nomination. We just have to see what happens with Cruz on Tuesday. My guess is that he will wake up on Wednesday with a headache.

Interesting that Trump got completely floored by questions about David Duke and the KKK. Sorry Donald, but knowing something about the country you are supposedly interested in leading is a prerequisite for he job. I loved the comment from the press that Trump dare not disavow Duke lest he offend his own constituency.

Billary--they're a package, let's face it--is the most qualified.

I don't really understand how that's "petrifying" as she pretty much toes the same line as our current Commander in Chief.

So the choice is socialist, bald faced liar, showman, or s couple of 2nd rate republicans... meh, a pox on them all.

I'm rooting for the underdog, Carson. At least we know he has ethics (most doctors do...)

Otherwise I'll hold my nose and vote against Hillary/Sanders.
