I knew the thread was going to be contentious, I became overwhelmed because I am one of the many Americans tremendously disappointed with this election. I think all things considered this wasn't all that uncontrolled. But thank you gentlemen, all of you for your input whether I agreed or not. In a few hours we will know who the country's next president is, provided no repeat of 2000.

I cannot believe Obama is getting replaced by such a vile bag of shit. I also cannot believe Hillary lost.. From my oerspective Trump did everything he could to lose the election - yet somehow he's winning?! What a joke.

Yeah, politics are a strange thing for sure, everyone has an opinion and to them that opinion is as if gold.
I expect there will be recounts here though, alllloooooooott of people are unhappy (it would have came down to it one way or the other) if Hillary had won half of america would have been unhappy too.
Thus the weakness of a two party system in a polarized country *at least the way I see it*.
