Trump or Hillary as President, who else is petrified?
I'm not a Michael Moore fan, but he seems to have summed up my thoughts nicely: http://www.commondreams.org/views/2016/0...p-will-win
Stein or Johnson aren't going to win and we all know it. At this point, I'm just going to vote for Hillary because she at least claims to have a plan to continue funding Pell Grants.
Everyone, please vote for Hillary so I can continue going to college and not have to take out bigger loans than I already have, thank you.

There are a lot of mandragoras littering the fields of Central Park .. if you ever get petrified after looking at Trump's hair or hearing Hillary's cackle, you should go make some mandrake juice in case of petrification.

in spite of the circus of american politics, it is quite evident that democracy is alive and well. regardless of how the two candidates ended up becoming the nominee...it is what it is.

stuck between silica and hard place.

just get out there and vote in November! I know im voting and not abstaining this year.

donald Trump and bill clinton used to play golf together. Hillary is untouchable no matter what she does anymore. Exxon denies global warming for obvious reason.

Everybody dies horrible in the near future news at 11. And then all of the insects turn to each other and say what a mess those humans made of things.

Trump will never be President. I have never seen a candidate try so hard NOT to get elected, AND even if he is elected, he has already said he will let his VP "do the Presidential Stuff".

He is a False Flag candidate, who's only goal is to help Hillary secure the Presidency.

Hillary Clinton has had this planned from the begining. From putting her "good friend" Debbie as the head of the DNC (in exchange for giving the old DNC head the VP spot) to what color gown she will wear to her Corination...

If you are voting for Hillary, then congratulations, you got fooled.

Not to mention that the Koch Brothers are openly supporting her. That alone should put ice in anyone's shorts....

I'm so sorry, Beaux (and I do like reading your posts and all) but your tin foil hat is starting to show on this one.

Emiliano & LJay isn't it a little presumptuous to assume that certain groups haven't weighed the options and are absolutely willing to endure a Trump victory? Perhaps some of them are even secretly hoping for it? It was always a top down "revolution " or nothing for some of these people. I think you might not be hearing them.

I can understand why you're concerned by an influx of new Greens, Emiliano--even I was surprised by how quickly some of the bernieno-or-busters discarded their former champion. But you can't seriously be all that worried by another potential Green backlash? Everyone has the right to be heard, no matter how they choose to voice it. Are these people actually in on the "revolution" for the long-haul? Remains to be seen. I agree you're being a little hypocritical here.

For what it's worth, I imagine a faction of the faction will also tire of Jill and move on or go full-on Trump or maybe even lose interest altogether. I believe this is Hillary's election to lose; the only thing that might change that is a barrage of more phony accusations or a certifiable scandal.

Just for the record I'm:

-registered as a Democrat, though I've always voted independently

-am not petrified by either of the major party candidates

-cannot reconcile how certain Bernienos are considering voting Libertarian (that does not compute)

-ultimately don't really care who anyone here might vote for (but I will judge them for it--ooh, an internet stranger is going to judge other strangers. Scary, right?)

-#VoteHillOrBeADill...Pickle will be the extent of my 'campaigning' for any single candidate

Yea, I can see where you might think I'm crazy...I mean, even though they were cold-busted rigging a primary election, trading cabinet positions in exchange for donations to the Clinton Foundation, and directing journalists working for major media outlets to publish offensive pieces against their competitors and favorable pieces about themselves, they would NEVER get one of their close friends to pose as an opponent.....just too far fetched....that would just lack ethics....right?

Not voting green is saying fuck you to future generations. That is my opinion.

I get what you're saying. And you're right, I'm not hearing this other perspective. What is preventing me, is that I don't understand why people aren't terrified of Trump. I can't wrap my head around that perspective. I mean I have my suspicions and my presumptions, but I'm working on not being so negative in my thoughts about certain groups of people. Maybe you can give some insight.
