"You made me cum" *Shudder*
#1
Anyone else have a big problem with the phrase You/she/he made me cum".

The world "made" just gives it a whole rapey vibe like I held him down, force fed him viagra then jerked him. Thats making someone cum.

Call me old fashioned but i don't think a phrase that can apply to rape should be used to describe happy consensual sex.

And to hear it after sex. God it's like you've just finished eating a delicious sandwich you made and then you see a cockroach crawling out of your bread bin.

It's a contextual thing if you ask me... It is just a matter of the meaning when it is being said... However, it isn't any different than me not wanting to be called "stud." I think it's degrading to refer to someone as a farm animal with the sole purpose of fucking...

I think you are reading too much into a word. If I say I made myself cum, it doesn't mean I forced an ejaculation, it just means I jacked off.

BTW, I shudder when I cum, too.

Eh, it's a common vernacular now days to use the word "made" in such a way.

If they meant they were forced to cum, I'm sure they'd make such clear.

Probably best instead to try and change how the phrase makes you feel, as you have at least some level of control in that respect. Though it probably wouldn't be easy, and I doubt it's bothering you that much.

I'd say that, in the larger scheme of things, the phrase could be worse.

At least the cockroach was not crawling out of your sandwich.

What you think about a vernacular and whether using or not using it, is fine for yourself.

As for the rest, I don't think many people will be on the same page, cause most people take the vernacular for what it is: a simple commonality that doesn't pack the meaning you're giving to it (or else everyone would be disgusted by it).

Who knows really.

That sounds kinda hot... It seems when people talk about sex they use word to make it sound really really really hot, It also kinda seems to play on a dominance level, I see a lot of people say things that wouldn't make sense outside of the topic of sex

I don't see "made me cum" correlating with "rapey". I mean, making somebody cum is making somebody cum. If you have sex with someone, generally speaking, you're getting them off and visa-versa. If the sex is good, of course hahaha

But, I don't see anything wrong with the phrasing. Too each his own, I suppose.

If you close your eyes the light can't take it away

And pull the thorn from the burning pain in your side

I don't see it as "rapey" either. I mean do you see "you made me smile" or "you make me happy" in the same way?
