oh I agree with this - I currently have a naughty pile of 6 socks without their partners ,and I have no idea where the others have gone

I've considered the question of: would you rather lose an arm or a leg? My answer is a leg. Why? I never seem to lose the matching partner to a glove. Socks? They're always cheating on each other and one of them eventually can't take it anymore and moves out.
