Changes Support Group
this is a new TRANS support goup in westmidlands
the first one is this friday 1st may at 13.00pm-16.00pm then after every two weeks .
we have changed the group to TRANS related only as when we were going to do the LGBT support aswell we didnt relise how mant of them there was in surrounding areas of westmidlands , but there are very few TRANS support groups in the surrounding areas.

Changes is run by Lisa, Maria & Karl, befriending & supporting the trans community, those questioning there sexuality or gender in the strictest of confidence. All people are welcome, of all ages, worried or anxious about any trans issues.

Are you feeling lonely or isolated?

Do you need information on coming out, telling your family & friends?

safer sex?

Or maybe, you just want to come along for a chat have a cup of coffee or tea, & meet other trans people, or are you seeking answers & general information or advice. If so, please feel free to pop along, or for further information, please dont hesitate to contact us

Maria & Lisa, are a lesbian couple, Maria is post op male to female (trans-woman.) Lisa is a biological female & Karl is female to male.

thankyou that is very kind well its mainly me and lisa who run the group its very new so its early days yet but fingers crossed that it will take off in future we just wanna offer support out there for people who need it .

Have you two had special training, for example, in psychology, or anything like that?

no we are not qualified but we offer advice support and guidance to others who need it.

I was just asking, but I find it fine that you will offer that kind of help. You surely know how important such help can be to anyone in need, and who feels afraid and alone.

thats fine we think it is really important that we offer help & support to those who need it who feel they aint got no one out there to confide in .
