Virgos are supposed to be very critical (especially of themselves, then of others) and they can make quite fierce 'readers' of another person. I have been able to see this quality in several people who were born around that time of year, and it's interesting to see how they dish it out. This does not mean that no other sign will criticize, of course, but but these Virgos have had a keen reading of other people's flaws and have been able to make fun of them.

Virgos are also supposed to be a double sign, that of the quiet and demure virgo, and that of the mad and wild virgo. So you'd either have a complete vixen or a vestal virgin. Does it mean that only Virgos share this characteristic? No, it doesn't.

My mum and I were the same opposites with the same implication in each other's lives (me the pig and she the snake). We got on like a house on fire (mostly) but there was also quite a bit of 'jealousy' involved. As a mother she also nurtured all her children, not just me, but I was the easy going one, and also her rock in times of trouble. I did not always understand where she came from, though. And she did try to manage / manipulate me (which in the end, didn't really work). Bless her!
