Abortion
#31
guys .. i only did that remark on the chatbox after seeing a horrible video on abortion where the baby/fetus/child had to be chopped up to be aborted.. relax .. it was just a harmless remark .. i just wished that if any baby was to be aborted they would have done it in a more civil way

Ok, so lets say a girl gets raped and get pregnant from it.
I wouldn't hate on her if she wanted to get an abortion then.
If she were to have the baby, she might look at the kid and remember that horrible experience, and then maybe start hating the kid. That would be bad for both the mother and the kid.
Kid would eventually be able to see that the mother looked upon him/her with hate, and then it would probably get depressed and maybe commit suicide.

So in such a case, I'm for abortion.

just think of it like this ..if you worry about the baby because of "mouths to feed" .. well you could always get help from other people, 'cos you know definitely no one is that heartless.. plus, these fetuses (we were all former fetuses) will grow into human who has a conscience and a mind capable of learning even a heart where it will feel gratitude for having been saved from people like Hillary .. lol .. so dont take my comments seriously, regrets usually happen tailing your conscience ..

EDIT: here in my country people get abortions because of the very same reasons i posted above, poverty .. so i cant compare it with countries with different living conditions from us, after all "worlds" today are classed into three groups, another man's child might be another man's mistake .. if you think an aborted child is a mistake ... why not stop listening to Lady Gaga? lol .. just sayin' ..

face it dudes, life begins with conception if it were not so, the angel would have not appeared to Mary or John the Baptist leapt at the advent for joy ..

knickerbuck Some people are heartless. I think it was mentioned that babies get thrown in the dumpster, shaken, beaten, murdered....

Life does not start at conception, it takes about two to three weeks for fertilization to occur, before that there isn't any argument, at least biologically.

Here's where I disagree and get pissed. What the fuck does Mary or John the Baptist have to do with conception? Religion should not and does not have anything to do with abortion. Right now we in the US have these religious nutcases who think their moral values, their world view is the only view and that they can pass laws enforcing their religious beliefs on the entire country. Sorry, that's not the way (it should) works here. That's why we have separation of church and state. You might believe in God and Jesus and all that is fine and dandy and think abortion is outright terrible. However, I think often religion is used as an excuse for ignorance and it shouldn't be. People read the bible and have some guy who's paid to tell you what it means. Frankly I don't think many people read the bible end to end, in fact I have had people tell me "oh, most of it you don't need to read but..." We want to interpret religious texts a certain way. My thinking, being from a 3rd person point of view, religion is a business. They preach this and that to keep you coming back.

You know what bothers me about religion. In one of the small towns I live near there is a hospital, next door is a church. The hospital is small, dated looking, understaffed, doesn't have the means to treat people with more serious problems...my grandfather passed away there. The church towers over the hospital, has a fancy digital sign with their messages on the display...I must say it is a marvel in the town and it is taller and bigger than anything there. My problem is we make that church being huge more of a priority than helping those who are sick, homeless....yes in a county of 10,000 we have a homeless shelter.

Anyway, that's how I feel about religion and it imposing their so-called moral values on the population when if you ask me isn't but a bunch of smoke and mirrors.
