One of my friends and his partner was talking about moving to Panama...lol
considering the election is over I trust what he say's now more than I did. (and if i recall correctly he was ok with gay marriage BEFORE he won the election)
Although most candidates are flip floppers I am not going to jump up and down screaming burn the witch before his first day in office.
Your friend and his partner are crazy... when they can move to Canada lol!
bah, if everyone left who said they would our population would be in the negatives right now IE people leaving for one election then not, then claiming to leave again during next election.
Kinda like how Texas is gonna leave the union each time a dem takes office .
All im saying is, let the dust settle and get our bearings before we jump.
Calm, informed decisions are always better than hearsay and panic.
on a slightly more comical note
EVEN IF day 1 all branches of government decide to round up and execute gays, I think it would take months to pass.
By the time they all decided on HOW to do it, WHEN to do it, obtain the funding and select WHOME to do it, have a couple hundred recesses, a dozen or so vacations at least 1 good filibuster
it will take a few months and while its on the floor THEN we can move to Canada .
