Troy Schooneman does portraits. His inspiration often comes from the classics, the sculptors of antiquity or like Rodin, and such inspiring painters a Modigliani, or Monet...
I find that in his 'photographart' there is all the quality of the Renaissance painters of Italy. Bronzino comes to mind, but maybe also Caravaggio.
The nudity of his subjects is also quite compelling.
