For those of you who don't understand how tragic and ultimately beautiful this is, I suggest you start with Carrie Fisher's semi-autobiographical novel turned film Postcards from the Edge, and then go from there.
Even then you're only getting half the story.

Poor Carrie Fisher, she died far too young, she was talented and intelligent but more than that, she seemed like a genuinely decent person.
