Great photos in that clip. The first 2 Bowie LPs I bought in 1979 were Rise and fall and Diamond Dogs.
I have always loved how Bowie recycled old songs, and sometimes completely changed it in to another song completely....but the originals always were the better versions.
^ Absolutely agree except in the case of Holy Holy. It does almost sound like a demo, but I love the original in its own right. The alternate version, however, is a lean, mean, beautifully mixed 2.5 minute masterpiece.
