I don't think it is funny as in humor, but odd how we humans see ourselves and others. I think the key to anyone being both successful at dating and being at peace with themselves is to stop putting up walls because how you think other people perceive you. Chances are what someone thinks about you will completely differ from what you thought.

I think he needs to quitting worrying so much about age. I mean yeah I'm not going to date someone who just turned 18 or is about to start getting a social security check, I get that kind of age restriction. Pay more attention to substance. Are they someone you can get along with, can you talk to them for hours about topics that interest both of you? Do you want to touch their hiney? Do you like them?
