Some of these questions are not really good questions IE "familiarity breeds contempt"
Psychologically speaking (and I just looked this up to confirm) there is allot of evidence pointing to this as factual.

yet to be correct is to be fascist and wrong is to be liberal :S.
interesting, all around including the site Smile. Thanks for the post ^_^

Also, other questions can be answered drastically different completely dependent on the situation. IE I would be pretty low to hate and disrespect my parents. They may could have did better in some respects, but they didnt chain me in a basement or anything, i know I was/am loved when i was younger i had a roof, food, necessities. But to someone else, whose parents perhaps DID chain them in a basement, they would probably disagree strongly and be liberal :S. And apparently useing condoms is fascism roflmao. ugh xD

but yeah your right grain of salt Big Grin

When I lookup the word fascist, I get extreme right wing and so on. So yeah in that context to answer the questions correctly would be answering the questions more conservatively (although not completely). However, I do think being on the extreme left can also equate to fascism or authoritarian. In some cases I think the extreme left can play it well because you don't realize it is authoritarian. Or maybe I don't know what the hell I'm talking about Tongue

Oh and "familiarity breeds contempt." I looked at that question based on how say brothers and sisters or people within their family are more like to treat each other kind of crappy, where as a total stranger you would be more likely to be nice to. Not saying every human is like that but also why I think people dating, for instance, should spend a lot of time together before making the plunge. Once the couple gets comfortable with each other, the true colors come out and that's ultimately what matters. Have they been hiding a temper or something? Just a thought I had.

People throw the term fascism, and fascist around with little understanding of what it actually means.
So here is a definition:

http://www.econlib.org/library/Enc/Fascism.html

Quote:Under fascism, the state, through official cartels, controlled all aspects of manufacturing, commerce, finance, and agriculture. Planning boards set product lines, production levels, prices, wages, working conditions, and the size of firms. Licensing was ubiquitous; no economic activity could be undertaken without government permission. Levels of consumption were dictated by the state, and “excess” incomes had to be surrendered as taxes or “loans.” The consequent burdening of manufacturers gave advantages to foreign firms wishing to export. But since government policy aimed at autarky, or national self-sufficiency, protectionism was necessary: imports were barred or strictly controlled, leaving foreign conquest as the only avenue for access to resources unavailable domestically. Fascism was thus incompatible with peace and the international division of labor—hallmarks of liberalism.

Fascism embodied corporatism, in which political representation was based on trade and industry rather than on geography. In this, fascism revealed its roots in syndicalism, a form of socialism originating on the left. The government cartelized firms of the same industry, with representatives of labor and management serving on myriad local, regional, and national boards—subject always to the final authority of the dictator’s economic plan. Corporatism was intended to avert unsettling divisions within the nation, such as lockouts and union strikes. The price of such forced “harmony” was the loss of the ability to bargain and move about freely.

To maintain high employment and minimize popular discontent, fascist governments also undertook massive public-works projects financed by steep taxes, borrowing, and fiat money creation. While many of these projects were domestic—roads, buildings, stadiums—the largest project of all was militarism, with huge armies and arms production.

What is interesting is if you google fascism you get this...

Quote:an authoritarian and nationalistic right-wing system of government and social organization.
synonyms: authoritarianism, totalitarianism, dictatorship, despotism, autocracy; More
(in general use) extreme right-wing, authoritarian, or intolerant views or practice.

I mean they don't go into a lot of detail but you got one example saying it is the left and another saying it's the right...

The world is fuzzy like that. Words get redefined all the time, especially when talking about politics. Even saying left and right is pretty meaningless anymore. As many on the left will say that anything to the right of themselves is extreme, and vis versa. Of course, the professional left keeps having to change it's name as the old names get vilified.
