Don't let this give you the wrong impression on what is maybe one of the best gay forums on the internet. There's only a couple threads like this and it's always the same individuals who post this stuff (I posted something too but it was a joke to make fun of this, if that much wasn't clear). The majority of the users here don't care about posting nudes, they're nice people who often give sound advice to those who need it...just ignore these peculiar "discussions" like many of us do.

Indeed, [MENTION=24308]Piri[/MENTION], anyone can come to 'these threads' .... or not. It's your choice to view or not view what's on offer. You seem to dismiss nude photography as giving the 'wrong impression' of this site when this site also offers quite graphic details of sexual habits, desires, advice etc. The wrong impression of what? Are you saying that naked bodies are something to be ashamed of? I certainly don't think so. Incidentally, your 'joke' offering turned out to be very nice for this thread, thank you. No, it was not clear that it was to make fun of the thread or this kind of thread.

As you said, everyone is free to ignore these threads and to partake in all the other 'more worthy' threads on this site. I see nothing 'peculiar' about discussing photography or the attractiveness of male or female bodies in whatever state they appear (and in this case of body art). And I certainly see only a puritanical view of what's permissible and not permissible. For many, this site will be a non invasive way to access some of the fine things of gay life without it necessarily being sleazy. Note that we are all quite careful to avoid pornography (even though that is a bit of an undefined borderline sometimes). If a picture seems a little too racy, either we point is out and leave a link to click or we exchange them with one another in PMs.

I also regret the way your post sounds, as if we weren't capable, as gay men, to enjoy both nice photography and give good, heartfelt and thoroughly thought-out advice. It's just too easy to dismiss this as if no thought or research had gone into it. I've been on this site long enough to know how my contributions have been valued, even though they may not appeal to all. As the classic phrase goes: nobody's perfect.

A few pics here do look more like hot guys in hot positions who happen to have tattos, basically fap material, rather than pictures posted to appreciate the beauty of a tattooed body...maybe it's just my imagination. It doesn't make you any less good or "worth" either way, I have read your comments and you're just as kind as the others. Thing is, we don't have many girls around here...I wanted to reassure the lady that this isn't a site where we post nudes all the time, that this kind of thread isn't central to gs. There are plenty of gay forums where the sexual aspect is predominant but this isn't one of those: thinking it is, is indeed the wrong impression. But I said that in a very judgemental and disrespectful manner, I apologize.

Our friend @Emy, has been lurking on the site for a while, I'm guessing she has an inkling of what is being posted on here and in every thread that she's found interesting. She didn't say that the tattoo thread was in any way distasteful, so maybe you're the one interpreting for her... haha.
I know what you meant, and I just wanted to point out that naked pictures are not the way to judge this site. Yes, these men are rather 'very naked', but how do you show tattoos that are on parts of the body that would normally be hidden by clothing if they're not naked, or partially naked? Maybe if Emy likes tattoos, she'll put some female offers on here too...? I've seen some very nice ones, but I've generally refrained from posting them because of the nature of who actually seems interested in this thread.

I take everything positively. Be it the beauty of a tattoo or anything :-) I love tattoos and I admire good ones. Though I found few odd ones here, most of them look good. No shame in openly acknowledging this fact.
